L'Amandier is the north-eastern, larger of the two houses. Its character shifts with the seasons — in summer, it's the house with the shaded courtyard; in winter, the house with the fire.
The house holds three bedrooms, a bathroom with a double basin, a separate WC, and a living area with an open fireplace. The dining table seats six, eight with the leaf in. The kitchen is open, but not open-plan — it has its own corner, so someone can cook while the others keep talking.
The third bedroom is deliberately small and dual-purpose: a third guest room, or a workspace. A desk sits by the window, looking out over the olive trees. Fibre broadband, reliably fast. For travellers who stay a week longer and work a few days, this is the right setup.
The bathroom has a double basin, walk-in shower, separate WC. Organic toiletries, thick towels, no plastic.
Outside the house opens onto the shared garden and pool. A covered terrace with a wood-fired pizza oven — built for the dinners that always run longer than planned.
Best suited for families (two adults plus two or three children), grandparents + family, three couples of friends, workation travellers, small birthday gatherings.
